Related Third-party Releases

The GRIA OGSA-DAI Service 1.0 takes OGSA-DAI WS-I 2.2 and puts it into the GRIA framework, providing additional features and improvements:

  • Easy deployment and configuration - web-based deployment, configuration and management interface.
  • GRIA's standard security features - dynamic security policies, transport level encryption, message level security.
  • OGSA-DAI session security - providing a custom session manager to restrict sessions to the user that created them.
  • Business models - service providers may adopt a database publication/subscription model or one that permits clients to create and manage their own databases.
  • Service management - by using the GRIA SLA service the service provider may monitor, constrain and charge for database usage.

Existing OGSA-DAI client software will continue to work with the GRIA OGSA-DAI service with only a minor change to the message handler chain.

GRIA and the GRIA OGSA-DAI service may be downloaded from http://www.gria.org. Support for the software is available from .
